Constitution Day Samvidhan Divas in India! What you should really know?
The work of painting into constitution was done by Acharya Nand Lal Bose
Ram Manohar Sinha had done the work of decorating the
Preamble of the Constitution, and he was a disciple of Acharya Nand Lal Bose.
The original copies of the Constitution were written by hand
in Hindi and English, and were written by Prem Bihari Narayan Raizada and he
was born into a calligraphic family
He wrote these copies in italic style and took 6 months to write them and he did not take a single penny for this. You call it his greatness or his patriotism yes he put a condition that in the end page of the constitution he wanted to write his grandfather's name, and write his name on every page and for this he was also given permission and he wrote his name PREM on every page and his grand father’s name on end page of constitution.
On 22 July 1947 Indian flag was adopted by the members in
Constituent Assembly
The Preamble to the Constitution was implemented only after
the Constitution was enacted and the Indian Independence Act 1947 and
government of india act 1935 were
abolished
On 4 November 1948, BR Ambedkar presented the draft to the
Constituent Assembly and read it in the Constituent Assembly and discussed it
continuously for five consecutive days.
Then on 15 November 1948, for the second time the draft was
presented and read in the Constituent Assembly and it was discussed till 17 oct
1949.
Third time the constituent assembly started considering from 14 november 1949
On 26 nov 1949, Dr BR Ambedkar made a declaration that the constitution is settled
by assembly and passed by assembly
Total 284 members passed it and signed it
In this way some
provisions were implemented and the remaining provisions were implemented on 26
jan 1950.
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment on 19th November 2015 decided by the Government of India to celebrate the 26th of November every year as 'Constitution Day' to promote Constitutional values among citizens.
This day is also known as National Law Day and constitution day of india
Jammu and Kashmir will celebrate it for the 2nd time since the abrogation of Article 370.
The idea of constitution of the Constituent Assembly was first introduced in 1934 by MN Roy and in 1935, the Indian National Congress officially demanded its formation for the first time.
In 1938, Jawahar lal Nehru announced that the Constituent Assembly would build the Constituent Assembly of Independent India.

The first Constituent Assembly met on 9 dec 1946. The most senior person on the lines of France should be made as a chairman, So Sachida Nand Sinha was made the temporary chairman and his introduction was given by Acharya Kripalani in the Constituent Assembly.
Dr. Rajendra Prasad became permanent chairman on 11 december 1946 and HC Mukherjee Became Vice-President and Sir bn Roy became Senior Advisor of the assembly. It met for 166 days spread over 2 years, 11 months and 18 days.
Indian Constitution is completely a hand-written document. There are total of 1,17,369 words in the English version of the Constitution of India.
Indian constitution was first described by the Granville Austin to achieve the social revolution.
The word “socialist” was added to the preamble of the Indian Constitution during emergency, by the 42nd amendment act of 1976.
The constitution of Indian was adopted to constitute the country as an independent, communist, secular, autonomous and republic to secure the Indian citizens by the justice, equality, liberty and union.
